Get the Look: Parisian Love Letter Paper Blooms

Paper flowers are a hot topic in the wedding world right now! We’ve been seeing them all over, and we bet that you’re just as enthralled with them as we are! From their beautiful shapes to the statement they make, we can’t get enough of the handmade touch that paper blooms bring to a wedding. And, while a lot of tutorials showed women cutting out flower shapes and petals for what must have been hours, we wanted to offer a more time friendly version of the craft so even the time strapped (or novice DIY) bride could create the look with confidence! DIY Mini Pie Favors


I am in love with this mini pie box! What can be more charming than this box stuffed with a mini pie. If you are having a rustic wedding, keep the theme going by giving your guest a little sweet something to take home with them. Our adorable miniature pie packaging kit will give you all you need to get started. You can either purchase your mini pies at a local bakery or if your really feeling rustic-bake them yourselves. Our friends from weddingstar have given us a recipe too.


   Apple Mini Pies

24 tart shells
2 pie crust
1 1/2 granny smith apples 2 red apples
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp flour
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp allspice
1 egg white, beaten 



1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Peel and dice apples in a bowl. The smaller the better. Toss in lemon juice and zest. Set aside
3. In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, salt and spices.
4. Toss apples with dry ingredients.
5. Place tart shells on your baking sheet and fill each 3/4 full with the apple filling.
4. Use the pie crust to decorate the tops of your mini pies. Example: Lattice or shapes. Make sure the pie crust remains cool.
5. Brush the top of the pie crust with egg.
6. Bake until golden brown, around 25 minutes.

Event Stylist

Everything I do, I do because I have a passion for it. So as I sit here writing this blog, I am thinking of all the fabulous products my company offers and how I would love to actually be the one using them! And this carries me away into thinking of beautifully decorated tables.
